Analysis of the existing legislative and policy frameworks for ending violence against women and girls in the workplace

In 2021, IPAR Consult completed a study that analyzed the existing legislative and policy frameworks for ending violence against women and girls in the workplace and finding gaps both in informal and formal sectors. Commissioned by ActionAid Rwanda, the aim of the study was to find out the level of awareness of workers and the implementation of existing laws and policies for ending violence against women and girls and its implementation at the workplace both in informal and formal sectors.

The findings were aimed at helping generation of credible evidence of how the existing legislations and policies on violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the workplace are known and are being implemented towards ending violence.
